Period 10, Creative Arts.

If i had to pick my favorite class i've taken in my (now) two years of highschool, creative arts would definitely be my number 1 pick. This class has been so wonderful and filled with excitement, that i am sad to be leaving it. With all the new projects to do you never had nothing to do in this class, you were always either painting or sketching or gluing or sewing, etc. And every project had its own story to it, they all had their own background and that's what them special. But not only were the projects great, so was the teacher. Mrs. Kiick is always happy to help with something, always making up fun and creative things for us to do. There was never a day that Mrs. Kiick wasn't happy. She's the excitement in the room when you first walk in and shes what encourages everyone to be creative and to tell your story whether its in a totem pole, or a painting, or even a book we made ourselves. She is what made this creative arts class fun and i thank her for that. I will always remember this first experience i had with taking a art class, and i hope i will have many more throughout the rest of my highschool years.

Time Capsule

Ten years from now ill open a time capsule. A time capsule filled with old photos of my friends and i, my family, some old random notes from spanish class because its my favorite, and some other random stuff that will forever remind me of not only my time i spent in highschool, but also my first time taking an art class. This box will be that happy reminder of everything that has went on in my 10th period creative arts class. And not only just this art class but everything else of my teenage years. With pictures of my friends and i from all the adventures we had, with random candy wrappers just to see whats old and whats new ten years from now. This time capsule will always be a happy reminder.

Fortune Cookie

This was my favorite project we did this year. I really liked the idea of it and I loved the back story it had. We got six fortunes and had to base our project off of them, easy right? It was easy for me because I had fortunes that all kinda had something to do with each other. My project was about how society thinks us females should be (pretty, skinny, flawless etc..) and how no one really wants to see what we actually are.

Artx3

If I'm honest I didn't really like this project that much, I didn't like that I had to give away my own art and I didn't like the art that I got for my final project! When we first began to do this I had my own idea of what I was going to do but when I got the final project it wasn't like I expected and it completely threw me off.  The idea of it was cool that we got to continue off of someone else but it was only good if the art you got last was something you could work with.

Pop Print

The pop print was a weird and different experience for me because it wasn't really drawing or painting. We had to carve out of a stamp and do prints off of that. Even though it was new, I really liked doing this because each time I'm printing I can change the colors of it so it was a whole new print each time!
